If something does not work, please tell us your device (iPad / iPhone / computer), the iOS, iPadOS or browser version, and what kind of page you were on.

Turn on VJam FX (Safari on iPad and iPhone)

  1. Install the VJam FX app from the App Store
  2. Open Settings › Apps › Safari › Extensions (iOS / iPadOS 17: Settings › Safari › Extensions)
  3. Tap VJam FX and turn it on
  4. Set All Websites to Allow

Use it

  1. Open a page with a video in Safari and play it
  2. Tap AA in the address bar, then VJam FX
  3. Turn the switch on. Auto mode starts right away; tap Next for a different look
  4. To stop, turn the switch off again

FAQ

The effects do not follow the music

Make sure the video is playing and VJam FX is allowed on the website. In Safari, VJam FX can read the sound of most streaming videos, but not of live or encrypted streams or some audio players. On those pages the effects still run, just without the beat.

Nothing appears when I turn it on

Check that the extension is on and allowed for the website, then reload the page. Some pages, such as the browser's own pages, cannot be overlaid.

The page feels slow

VJam FX automatically skips effects that are too heavy for your device. Turning it off when you do not need it also saves battery.

Does VJam FX collect any data?

No. The sound is analyzed only on your device and never leaves it, and nothing is collected. See the Privacy Policy.

Is there a version for computers?

Yes, VJam FX is also available as a Chrome extension. See VJam FX.

うまく動かないときは、お使いの端末(iPad / iPhone / パソコン)、iOS・iPadOS またはブラウザのバージョン、どんなページで起きたかを書いてください。

オンにする(iPad・iPhone の Safari)

  1. App Store から VJam FX のアプリを入れる
  2. 設定 › アプリ › Safari › 機能拡張 を開く(iOS / iPadOS 17 は 設定 › Safari › 機能拡張)
  3. VJam FX をタップしてオン
  4. すべてのWebサイトを許可にする

使い方

  1. Safari で動画のページを開いて再生
  2. アドレスバーの ぁあ から VJam FX をタップ
  3. スイッチをオン。すぐに Auto で始まります。Next で別の見た目に
  4. 止めるときは、もう一度スイッチをオフ

よくある質問

エフェクトが音楽に合わない

動画が再生中か、そのサイトで VJam FX が許可されているかを確かめてください。Safari では、ほとんどの配信動画の音を読めますが、ライブ配信・暗号化された配信・一部の音声プレーヤーは読めません。そのページでもエフェクトは動きますが、ビートには合いません。

オンにしても何も出ない

機能拡張がオンで、そのサイトで許可されているかを確かめて、ページを読み込み直してください。ブラウザ自身のページなど、重ねられないページもあります。

ページが重い

端末で重すぎるエフェクトは、VJam FX が自動で外します。使わないときはオフにすると、電池の持ちもよくなります。

データを集めていますか?

いいえ。音の解析は端末の中だけで、音は外に出ません。データも集めません。くわしくはプライバシーポリシー(英語)をご覧ください。
